WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a twelve (12) month term and supply contract to Document Automation Development of Overland Park, KS as the best and lowest bidder; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. BB20053 for the furnishing of scanning service for use by the Collections Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bid from the following;

therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Document Automation Development of Overland Park, KS, for the furnishing of a scanning system for a cost not to exceed $0.0690 for a term of twelve (12) months as recommended by the Director of Purchasing , and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract thereby made, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
