Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department is in need of golf equipment to use for resale; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1040.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing requests authorization for the purchase of proprietary golf equipment for resale by the Parks and Recreation Department from Titleist & Foot Joy Worldwide of Fairhaven, MA, at a total cost to the County not to exceed $25,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing has determined that the items to be purchased are proprietary articles not available in a competitive market and are for resale in the golf pro shop at the Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to purchase golf equipment for resale by the Parks and Recreation Department from Titleist & Foot Joy Worldwide of Fairhaven, MA, at a total cost to the County not to exceed $25,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
