Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200264 for the furnishing of one (1) John Deere Model 1445 4WD front- deck mower for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR AMOUNT
Lawn & Leisure $15,858.00
Lee's Summit, MO
Harrisonville Tractor $16,376.00
Harrisonville, MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Lawn & Leisure of Lee's Summit, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
