Body
WHEREAS, the National Park Service has initiated Modification No. 7 to the Cooperative Agreement regarding the Fort Osage Education Center, for the purpose of including the fiscal years 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006, in the extension of the agreement through September 30, 2007; and,
WHEREAS, this modification is necessary to process future payments from the funds from federal fiscal years 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006, for use in the Fort Osage Education Center project; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation recommends this modification; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Modification No. 7 to the Agreement with the National Park Service.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
