Intro RESOLUTION 12527, February 8, 1999 INTRODUCED BY Lisa White Hardwick, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 197-98 for the furnishing of ready mix concrete for use by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments to provide for departmental needs for upcoming one-year period; and, WHEREAS, he has received as the only bids thereon, bids from the following: Ready Mix Concrete Flowable Fill Bidder Per Cubic Yard Per Cubic Yard APAC Missouri Materials L.L.C. $59.00 $46.00 Harrisonville, MO Penny's Concrete, Inc. $61.50 $49.90 Shawnee Mission, KS and, WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to APAC Missouri Materials, L.L.C., of Harrisonville, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
