Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 2456 dated September 25, 1995, Jackson County, Missouri, and Jackson County Historical Society entered into an agreement whereby the County would offer to the Jackson County Historical Society title to all records generated by County departments not required to be retained by law by the County, and the Jackson County Historical Society would accept title to those records which have historical significance and be responsible for the storage of such records; and,
WHEREAS, the parties now desire to continue this operation for an additional year and enter into a First Addendum to Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, that the County Executive, be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached First Addendum to Agreement with the Jackson County Historical Society; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
