BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "LB" (Local Business) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District LB a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 3 ± acre tract of land generally located at the southeast corner of Gammon Road and Lone Jack-Lee's Summit Road and more specifically described:
All that part of the Southeast quarter of Section 16, Township 47, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southeast quarter of said Section 16; thence South 89 degrees 45 minutes 17 seconds East along the North line of said quarter section a distance of 224.00 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence continuing South 89 degrees 45 minutes 17 seconds East along the North line of said quarter section a distance of 131.77 feet; thence South 02 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 506.87 feet; thence North 89 degrees 45 minutes 17 seconds West a distance of 355.77 feet to a point on the West line of said quarter section; thence North 02 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds East along the West line of said quarter section a distance of 281.87 feet; thence South 89 degrees 45 minutes 17 seconds East a distance of 224.00 feet; thence North 02 degrees 09 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 225.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. Except that part in roads. Containing 2.98 acres more or less. All bearings are based on the South right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 50 as having a bearing of South 67 degrees 09 minutes 31 seconds East.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John Perucca (RZ-2001-248), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 16, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
