IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION awarding a two-year term and supply contract on Bid No. 147-98 for the maintenance of laundry equipment for use by the Corrections Department to Loomis Bros. Equipment Company of Fenton, MO, in the estimated amount of $15,000.00, and at an estimated first-year cost of $5,000.00. Intro RESOLUTION #12406, October 27, 1998 INTRODUCED BY Dixie M. Flynn, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 147-98 for the furnishing of laundry equipment maintenance for use by the Corrections Department to provide for its needs for the upcoming two-year period; and, WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Loomis Bros. Equipment Company of Fenton, MO; and, WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Loomis Bros. Equipment Company of Fenton, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
