Body
WHEREAS, section 1803., Jackson County Code, 1984, relating to the County Municipal Court establishes the salary of the County Municipal Court judge at $32,000.00, which has not been increased since 2008; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance 4398, dated March 19, 2012, now under consideration by the Legislature will enact a modest increase in this code section, in the amount of $2,500.00; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to give effect to this code change and to place the necessary funds in the appropriate spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:
