WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has a continuing need for the furnishing of chemicals and fertilizers; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. BB 200494 for the furnishing of chemicals and fertilizers for use by Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, after a total of 37 solicitations were issued, he has received the lowest four responsive bids thereon from the following:

; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the allocation of the award of twelve (12) month term and supply contracts to Floratine Midwest of Raymore, MO, Helena Chemical of Lenexa, KS, BWI Companies of Kansas City of Lenexa, KS, and Grass Pad, Inc., of Olathe, KS as the best and lowest bidders; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Floratine Midwest of Raymore, MO, Helena Chemical of Lenexa, KS, BWI Companies of Kansas City of Lenexa, KS, and Grass Pad, Inc., of Olathe, KS, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
