IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION awarding a contract on Bid No. 154-98 for the furnishing of a skid steer loader for use by the Public Works Department to Victor L. Phillips of Kansas City, MO, in the actual amount of $23,236.00, and declaring one 1962 Clark Michigan loader, Model DEL 75A, as surplus and authorizing its disposal by way of a trade-in. Intro RESOLUTION #12430, November 16, 1998 INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 154-98 for the furnishing of a skid steer loader for use by the Public Works Department; and, WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two bids thereon bids from the following: TRADE-IN VENDOR BASE BID VALUE NET COST Victor L. Phillips $26,136.00 $2,900.00 $23,236.00 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO Rental Service Corp. $28,985.00 No Bid $28,985.00 Kansas City (Jackson County), MO and, WHEREAS, the acquisition of this new loader has rendered an existing 1962 Clark Michigan Loader, Model DEL 75A as surplus property; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to 1134., Jackson County Code, 1984, the Purchasing Director has requested that he be authorized to dispose of this loader by way of trade-in; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the existing loader be and hereby is declared surplus property and the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it by way of trade-in. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
