Body
WHEREAS, the Choplin Family Trust, owners of Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Moore View, a five lot subdivision has requested that the below described parts of said Lots be vacated to allow absorption of said 2.00± acres back into the adjacent 131± acres; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to the Unified Development Code of Jackson County, section 24003.24, Jackson County Code, 1984, the below described parcel is hereby vacated:
Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5 of Moore View, a subdivision of Jackson County, Missouri.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of the Choplin Family Trust, (LA-2025-046), requesting the vacation embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 8 to 0 to recommended APPROVAL of this application at a public hearing on March 20, 2025, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
