Body
WHEREAS, the Kansas City and Jackson County Election Boards have requested that they be allowed to utilize funds previously appropriated to them which were returned to the County unspent from the 1 94 primary and general elections; and
WHEREAS, the Kansas City Board proposes to use its share of these funds to restore funds cut from ts 1995 budget request and the Jackson County Board proposes to use its share of the funds to purc ase 300 new voting machines; now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropria ion be made from the appropriated surplus of the 1995 General Fund:
