Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:
 
Description:  The 10.1 ± acres are less than a quarter of a mile north of Drinkwater Road on the east side of Gibson Road and specifically described as that part of the southwest quarter of Section 1, Township 47, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:  commencing at the southeast corner of said southwest quarter, thence south 84̊23'50" west along the south line thereof a distance of 665.00 feet, thence leaving said south line north 01̊27'23" east a distance of 776.63 to the true point of beginning, thence south 72̊33'20" west a distance of 729.01 feet to a point on the centerline of Gibson Road as now established, thence along said centerline north 00̊13'43" east a distance of 135.66 feet; thence along a curve to the right having a radius of 500.00 and an arc distance of 38.89 feet and a chord bearing of north 02̊27'21" east; thence north 04̊41'10" east a distance of 552.39 feet; thence leaving said centerline north 83̊57'21" east a distance of 666.51 feet, thence south 01̊27'23" west a distance of 576.87 feet to the point of beginning and containing 10.12 acres including right-of-way and being subject to easements, covenants, restrictions, declarations, reservations, if any, now of record, aka 114055 S. Gibson Road.
 
 
      
      
      
 
Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Harvey House (RZ-2008-455), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on July 17, 2008, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
 
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
