Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court is in need of a forensic interviewer to assist the Family Court in interviewing child abuse case victims; and,
WHEREAS, the establishment of a full-time forensic interviewer will decrease the waiting times for children needing forensic interviewing services by fifty percent (50%); now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Grant Fund:
