IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 80 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Hedgecock Acres," creating a 14-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2819, July 14, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows: Legal Description: Description: A 80 ñ acres generally located at the northeast corner of Gammon and Stringtown Road and specifically described as: A part of the West « of the SE 1/4 and a part of the South « of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 all in Section 28, Township 47, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri described as; Beginning at the NW corner of said SE 1/4 (as described in Missouri Land Survey Document #600-52673) thence N 2 25' 27" E on the West line of said South « of SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 for 322.21 feet; thence N 89 52' 26" E and parallel to the North line of said SE 1/4 for 1324.67 feet to the East line of said South « of SW 1/4 of NE 1/4; thence S 2 16' 59" W for 322.21 feet to the NE corner of said West « of SE 1/4; thence S 2 21' 44" W along the East line of said West « of SE 1/4 for 2317.74 feet thence S 89 54' 35" W and parallel to the South Line of said SE 1/4 for 1317.45 feet to the East line, (as platted) of "Vansandt Subdivision", a subdivision of record in Jackson County, Missouri; thence N 2 18' 30" E along last said East line and along the East line (as platted) of "Shady Oaks Country Estates" also a subdivision of record in said Jackson County for a distance of 932.62 fee to the NE corner of said Shady Oaks Country Estates; thence n 2 04' 07" E for 1384.00 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 79.96 acres more or less. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Hedgecock Acres," creating a 14-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Nometta Hedgecock (RZ-98-111), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on June 18, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
