Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR, a tract of land described as follows:

The 54.5 ± acres are generally located at the northeast corner of Hutt Road and Hendricks Road and specifically described as a part of the South ½ of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 25, Township 47, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri; being herein described as: Beginning at the S.W. corner of said N.W. 1/4; thence N 2̊ 06' 39" E along the West Line of said N.W. 1/4 for 1323.81 feet to the N.W. corner of said South ½ of N.W. 1/4; thence N 87̊ 57' 32" E along the North Line of said South ½ of N.W. 1/4 for 721.10 feet; thence S 2̊ 06' 39" W for 571.37 feet; thence N 88̊ 09' 35" for 1882.45 feet to a point 55 feet west of the East Line of said N.W. 1/4; thence S 1̊ 53' 58" W and parallel to said East Line for 754.78 feet to the South Line of said N.W. 1/4; thence S 89̊ 09' 35" W for 2606.17 feet to the point of beginning containing 54.45 acres.

 

 

Section 2.  The Jackson County Plan Commission, on April 21, 2005, held a public hearing and accepted testimony pertaining to the change of zoning requested by David Parker. This request is consistent with the intent and purpose of the Master Plan, therefore, the Plan Commission voted 8 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Legislature.

 

 Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
