Body
WHEREAS, in connection with certain activities of the Prosecuting Attorney's office, it has become necessary to establish a new fund entitled the Federal Forfeiture Fund; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer within the 1996 Asset and Bond Forfeiture Fund and an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Federal Forfeiture Fund are necessary in order to establish this fund; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 1996 Asset and Bond Forfeiture Fund and appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Federal Forfeiture Fund be and hereby are made:
