BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:
Description: The 5 ñ acre tract of land is generally located 1/4 ñ of a mile east of Old Atherton Road on the north side of Blue Mills Road and more specifically described as the east 375 feet of the south 575 feet of the tract described by Warranty Deed I-178194, dated March 24, 1974 and filed in Book I-590 at Page 257 all in Jackson County, Missouri containing 4.95 acres, more or less, excepting therefrom the existing right of way of Blue Mills Road.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Fred Stewart (RZ-97-074), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on August 21, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
