Body
WHEREAS, the City of Lone Jack, has requested the use of $31,463.00 from its County Urban Road System (CURS) account to cover the cost of improvements and chip seal to Lee Road, Siegfried Road, and Slim Beeman Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Lone Jack and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $31,463.00 to the City of Lone Jack for improvements to Lee, Siegfried, and Slim Beeman Roads.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
