Body
WHEREAS, Gabriel Hendren has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
 
WHEREAS, Gabriel, the son of Richard and Sherie Hendren, has been a scout for eight (8) years and belongs to Troop 206 of Independence, Missouri, led by his proud father and Scoutmaster, Richard Hendren with the support of Gabriel's mother Sherie Hendren; and,
 
WHEREAS, in recognition of his  high achievement, Gabriel will be recognized at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on May 15, 2005 at Saint Mark's United Methodist Church; and,
 
WHEREAS, Gabriel has received a total of twenty-two (22) merit badges and has held the leadership positions of Den Chief, Historian, Quarter Master, and Assistant Patrol Leader; and,
 
WHEREAS, Gabriel has earned the awards and special honors of Den Chief Award of Merit, the Chi Rho, World Conservation, Tribe of Mic-O-Say, Arrow of Light, and the Presidential Award for Academic Achievement during his time as a scout; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Gabriel Hendren for his outstanding achievements upon becoming an Eagle Scout.

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
