Body
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, Missouri, by its Resolution No. 060707, dated July 6, 2006, has recommended road project priorities to be designated for the use of its County Urban Road System ("CURS") account monies; and,
WHEREAS, the County and the City of Kansas City have previously agreed to apply County road and bridge funds that are due to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, from its CURS account to road and bridge projects within the City of general County interest and benefit; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends the adoption of the designated priorities as set forth in the attached copy of the City's Resolution 060707; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that designated priority list of projects dated July 6, 2006 for the use of monies in the City of Kansas City, Missouri's CURS account is hereby adopted for use by the Department of Public Works.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
