IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 46.2 + acre tract and approving the preliminary plat "Apple Park," creating a 14-lot residential subdivision. Intro ORDINANCE 2836, August 3, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: Legal Description: Description: A 46.2 ñ acre tract of land generally located east and south of Tyer Road, west of Dillingham Road and north of Duncan Road and more specifically described as follows: All that part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 22, Township 49, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 22; thence along the West line of said Quarter Section, North 00 degrees, 57 minutes 45 seconds East, 679.25 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along the West line of said Quarter Section, North 00 degrees, 57 minutes, 45 seconds East, 1965.0 feet to the Northwest corner of said Quarter Section; thence along the North line of said Quarter Section, South 88 degrees, 09 minutes, 45 seconds East, 1311.75 feet to the Northeast corner of the West Half of said Quarter Section; thence along the East line of the West Half of said Quarter Section, South 01 degrees, 04 minutes, 25 seconds West, 1105.0 feet; thence parallel to the North line of said Quarter Section, North 88 degrees, 09 minutes, 45 seconds West, 648.6 feet; thence parallel to the West line of said Quarter Section, South 00 degrees, 57 minutes, 45 seconds West, 860.0 feet; thence parallel to the North line of said Quarter Section, North 88 degrees, 09 minutes, 45 seconds West, 661.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 46.293 acres, more or less. Section 2. The preliminary plat "Apple Park," creating a 14-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved. Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John Washburn (RZ-98-116), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 16, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
