WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Longview Road at Blue Ridge Project, No. 2075-3, Tract No. 46, to acquire a right-of-way over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of the Botwin Family Partners, in the amount of $29,970.00, said property being more fully
described in the conveyance instruments, copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said right-of-way and temporary construction easement, and to settle the claim for damages and have executed these conveyances in favor of the County, in consideration of the payment of $29,970.00; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the 1995 County Urban Road System Fund:

Unappropriated Surplus $29,970 Div. of Administration Public Works Dept. County Urban Road System Kansas City City Projects $29,970
and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and hereby is authorized to issue a check payable to the Botwin Family Partners in the amount of $29,970.00, and deliver the check to the Department of Public Works, Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition.
Attorney Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
