WHEREAS, a transfer within and an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund are necessary to cover additional funding to the Kansas City, MO, Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within and appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
