Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE, a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

The 2.5 ± acre lot is approximately ½ ± mile north of Milton Thompson Road on the east side of Howard Road and is legally described as:

 

Lot 18, Timber Meadows 4th Plat, a Jackson County, Missouri subdivision lying in the northeast quarter of Section 36, Township 48, Range 31 aka 10109 Howard Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Robert Buxbaum (RZ-2006-406), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application at a public hearing on August 17, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
