Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 74-01 for the furnishing of custom file folders for use by the Family Support Division of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR AWARD (price per thousand)
Midwest Power Files $781.90
Kansas City, KS
Control Printing Group $1,990.00
Independence, MO
therefore,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the bids submitted, the Purchasing Director recommends the contract be made to Midwest Power Files of Kansas City, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriation to the using spending agency has heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
