AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 10 + acre tract.

ORDINANCE 3019, May 9, 2000

 

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

A 10 ± acre tract of land generally located 1/4 of a mile south of Austerman Road on the east side of Washboard Road and more specifically described:

 

All that part of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 28, Township 50, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows:  Beginning at the Northwest corner of said quarter quarter section; thence South 88 degrees 02 minutes 17 seconds East  (Deed = South 89 degrees 48 minutes 32 seconds East) and along the North line of said quarter quarter section, said line also being the South line of Lot 2, Adlard Addition, 656.70 feet (Deed  = 656.90 feet) to the Northeast corner of the West half of said quarter quarter Section; thence South 01 degrees 33 minutes 26 seconds West (Deed = South 0 degrees 11 minutes 47 seconds East) and along the East line of the West half of said quarter quarter section, 661.70 feet (Deed = 661.79 feet); thence North 88 degrees 06 minutes 06 seconds West (Deed = North 89 degrees 51 minutes 20 seconds West), 657.59 feet (Deed = 657.17 feet) to a point on the West line of said quarter quarter section; thence North 01 degrees 38 minutes 07 seconds East (Deed = North 0 degrees 10 minutes 20 seconds West) and along the West line of said quarter quarter section, 662.43 feet (Deed = 662.34 feet to the point of beginning.  Except that part of Washboard Road.

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Brian Garrett (RZ-2000-188), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on April 20, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
