BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) and “RR” (Residential Ranchette) Districts, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RR a 20.00± tract of land located at 31102 E. Stringtown Road in Jackson County, MO, legally described as follows:
Description: All of Tract 3 and Tract 4 of Certificate of Survey recorded as Document 2019E0006331, being part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 27, Township 47, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 27; thence South 89 degrees 49 minutes 15 seconds East, along the South line of said Section, a distance of 696.12 feet, to the Point of Beginning, being also the Southwest corner of said Tract 3; thence North 02 degrees 12 minutes 31 seconds East, along the West line of said Tract 3, a distance of 1379.47 feet, to the Northwest corner thereof; thence South 89 degrees 44 minutes 44 Seconds east, along the North line of said Tract 3 and Tract 4, a distance of 633.99 feet, to the Northeast corner of said Tract 4; thence South 02 degrees 07 minutes 23 seconds West, along the East line of said Tract 4, a distance of 1378.57 feet, to the Southeast corner of said Tract 4, being also the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 27; thence North 89 degrees 49 minutes 15 seconds West, along the South line of said Section, a distance of 636.08 feet, to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Ryan Morerod, (RZ-2025-706), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on November 20, 2025, does hereby adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
