BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "A-p" (Agricultural-Planned Development) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District A-p a tract of land described as follows:
Description: The 200 ± acres are generally located ½ ± of a mile north of Blue Mills Road on the east side of Twyman Road and specifically described as all that part of the South half of Section 11 and the Southwest quarter of Section 12, all of which are in Township 50, Range 31, in Jackson County, Missouri more particularly described as follows:
 
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Southeast quarter of Section 11, Township 50, Range 31; thence South 00 degrees 08 minutes 27 seconds East along the East line of said Southeast quarter of Section 11 a distance of 2267.94 feet; thence South 83 degrees 52 minutes 10 seconds East along the South line of Lot 2, FORT HAVEN, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri a distance of 74.05 feet; thence South 60 degrees 22 minutes 31 seconds East along the South line of said Lot 2, FORT HAVEN a distance of 27.44 feet; thence North 89 degrees 15 minutes 24 seconds East along the South line of said Lot 2, FORT HAVEN a distance of 137.81 feet; thence South 12 degrees 07 minutes 28 seconds West a distance of 76.95 feet; thence North 89 degrees 15 minutes 24 seconds East a distance of 30.77 feet to the centerline of Miller Road; thence South 12 degrees 07 minutes 28 seconds West along the centerline of said Miller Road a distance of 266.70 feet to a point on the South line of the Southwest quarter of Section 12, Township 50, Range 31; thence South 89 degrees 15 minutes 24 seconds West along the South line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 12 a distance of 193.00 feet to the Southeast corner of the Southeast of Section 11, Township 50, Range 31; thence South 89 degrees 27 minutes 33 seconds West along the South line of said Section 11 a distance of 2646.77 feet to the Southwest corner of the Southeast quarter of said Section 11; thence North 00 degrees 05 minutes 32 seconds West along the West line of the Southeast quarter of said Section 11 a distance of 1320.02 feet to the Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11; thence South 89 degrees 30 minutes 24 seconds West along the South line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11 a distance of 1324.21 feet to the Southwest corner of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11; thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 34 seconds West along the West line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11 a distance of 347.65 feet to the intersection of the West line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11 and the centerline of Twyman Road, said point being a point of curve; thence in a Northwesterly direction along a curve to the right (having an initial tangent of North 25 degrees 59 minutes 18 seconds West, a radius  of 2356.48 feet and a delta of 08 degrees 10 minutes 48 seconds) an arc distance of 336.43 feet to the intersection of the centerline of Twyman Road and North line of the South half of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11; thence North 89 degrees 31 minutes 50 seconds East a distance of 125.32 feet to a point on the West line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11; thence North 00 degrees 00 minutes 34 seconds West along the West line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11 a distance of 660.57 feet to the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11; thence North 89 degrees 33 minutes 16 seconds East along the North line of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11 a distance of 1322.30 feet to the Northeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 11; thence North 89 degrees 46 minutes 10 seconds East along the North line of the Southeast quarter of said Section 11 a distance of 2644.46 feet to the point of beginning.  Containing 202.2482 acres more or less aka 3205 N. Twyman Road.
 
 
 Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Thomas Nolte & Doulos Ministries, Inc. (RP-2006-404), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission, by a vote of 6 - 2, recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on June 15, 2006, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
