AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette), a certain 10.6 + acre tract.

Body

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:

Description:

 

A 10.6 ± acre tract of land generally located ½ mile north of Doris Neer Road on the east side of Missouri Route H and more specifically described as:

 

All that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 50 North, Range 29 West, in Levasy, Jackson County, Missouri, more fully described as follows:  Beginning at point on the West line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 32, Township 50 North, Range 29 West, North 01 degrees 46 minutes 31 seconds East 324.62 feet from the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 32; thence North 01 degrees 46 minutes 31 seconds East along the said West line 520.00 feet; thence South 88 degrees 13 minutes 29 seconds  East, 890 feet; thence South 01 degrees 46 minutes 31 seconds West along a lien parallel with the West line of said Northwest Quarter of the  Southeast Quarter of Section 32, a distance of 520.00 feet; thence Northwest 88 degrees 13 minutes 29 seconds West 890.00 feet to the point of  Beginning, aka 305 S. Missouri Route H (Outer Belt Hwy.)

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Orville Hoppenstedt (RZ-2000-195), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 20, 2000, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
