IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RR (Residential Ranchette) certain 5.2 and 6.16 + acre tracts. Intro ORDINANCE 2632, February 3, 1997 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR two tracts of land described as follows: A 5.2ñ acre tract and a 6.16ñ acre tract generally located at the northwest corner of Miller Road and County Line Road lying in the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 31, Township 47, Range 29 in Jackson County, Missouri and more specifically described as: a) A 5.2 ñ acre tract being the north 250 feet of the east 912 feet of the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 31, Township 47, Range 29 in Jackson County; and b) A 6.16 ñ acre tract described as beginning at the SE corner of said 1/4 1/4; thence N 2 21'30" E for 414.32 feet; thence N 87 51'57" W and parallel to the North line of said 1/4 1/4 for 645.00 feet; thence S 2 21'30" W for 418.50 feet to the South line of said 1/4 1/4; thence S 88 14'15" E for 645.01 feet to the POB. Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Donald Beasley (RZ-97-051), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on January 16, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
