Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 106-01 for the purchase of replacement floatation for use by the Parks and Recreation Department at the Longview and Blue Springs Marinas; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Galva-Foam Marine Industries, Inc., of Camdenton, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Galva-Foam Marine Industries, Inc. of Camdenton, Missouri, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
