Body
WHEREAS, Public Water Supply District No. 13 has an existing watermain, adjacent to, and crossing Colbern Road; and,
WHEREAS, the watermain is located in such a fashion as to be in conflict with proposed roadway and drainage modifications necessary for the reconstruction of Colbern Road; and,
WHEREAS, Public Water Supply District No. 13 and Jackson County have determined that it will be necessary to relocate a portion of the watermain, at no cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, to effect this relocation, the County and Public Water Supply District No. 13 have negotiated the attached agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the attached agreement is hereby approved, and that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
