Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15648, dated October 3, 2005, the Legislature did authorize an agreement with Crackerneck, LLC, for mitigation of the environmental impact of the Bass Pro development adjacent to the Little Blue Trace Park; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to this Agreement, Crackerneck agreed to pay to the County the sum of $147,273.12, to be used to create a wetland in the park which will replace wetlands damaged or destroyed by the development; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place these funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 Grant Fund:
