Intro ORDINANCE 2411, May 1, 1995 INTRODUCED BY Lisa White Hardwick, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the County, through its Prosecuting Attorney, and the City of Blue Springs, Missouri,  previously entered into a contract authorized by Ordinance 2393, relating to the County's providing  the City's local match to a grant from the Missouri Department of Public Safety to fund the City's  Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) and related programs, and the Choices  Cooperative/Campus Law Enforcement Education Officer program; and, WHEREAS, the parties are mutually desirous of amending the original agreement, at an increased  cost to the County; now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following  appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1995 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund: DEPARTMENT/DIVISION CHARACTER/DESCRIPTION FROM TO Unappropriated Surplus $3,830 Prosecuting Attorney D.A.R.E. Program Grant Match $3,830 and, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Prosecuting Attorney be, and is hereby authorized to execute  a First Addendum to Agreement in a form substantially similar to that attached, with the City of Blue  Springs, Missouri; and, BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Manager of the Division of Finance be and is hereby  authorized to make all payments including final payment of the Agreement. .PA Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the County  Executive.
