Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for a temporary construction easement for the widening of Colbern Road, Phase III Project; and,
WHEREAS, the owners of the property have agreed to convey the necessary temporary construction easement to the County as set forth in Exhibit "A"; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of the easement; and,
WHEREAS, the cost of the easement for 44,677 square feet at $3.00 per square foot rounds out to $13,404.00, to be paid to J. Lamar and Deborah Smith, and Timothy L. and Carol Schuetz as a one time lump sum; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the aforementioned temporary construction easement, further described in the attached "Exhibit A", be and hereby is accepted and that the Manager of Finance be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the amount of $13,404.00 to J. Lamar and Deborah Smith and Timothy L. and Carol Schuetz in consideration for said easement.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
