AN ORDINANCE amending the zoning districts established pursuant to the Unified Development Code by rezoning a certain 5.00± acre tract from District AG (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette).

Body

 BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) and “RR” (Residential Ranchette) Districts, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RR a 5.00± tract of land located at 34705 E. Mabry Road in Jackson County, MO, legally described as follows:

 

Description: A tract of land located in the Southwest Quarter of Section 24, Township 50, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:

 

Beginning at the said Center of Section 24, Township 50, Range 30; thence West along the North line of the said Southwest Quarter, North 88 degrees 53 minutes 41 seconds West, a distance of 250.00 feet; thence departing said North line, South 03 degrees 09 minutes 18 seconds West, a distance of 38.00 feet; thence North 88 degrees 53 minutes 41 seconds West, a distance of 200.60 feet; thence South 03 degrees 11 minutes 12 seconds West, a distance of 483.25 feet; thence South 88 degrees 51 minutes 55 seconds East, a distance of 450.60 feet to a point of the East line of said Southwest Quarter; thence North along said East line said Quarter, North 03 degrees 11 minutes 12 seconds East, a distance of 501.25 feet to the point of beginning. Except part in road.

 

 

 

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Kimberly & Luke Stanley, (RZ-2025-689), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on January 16, 2025, does hereby adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
