Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals on Request for Proposal No. PP20071 for the Sliding Device Retrofit Project for use by the Public Works Department at the Jackson County Detention Center; and,
WHEREAS, a total of twenty-five (25) solicitations were distributed and three (3) responses were received as follows:

Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
US Security Systems $95,859.00
Montgomery, AL
DH Pace $117,600.00
North Kansas City, MO
and,
WHEREAS, following evaluation of the proposals submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends award to The Bratton Corp. of Kansas City, MO, as the lowest and best bidder meeting specifications; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
