IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title AN ORDINANCE amending the districts established by the Jackson County Zoning Order by changing from A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates), a certain 10.8 + acre tract. Intro ORDINANCE 2834, August 3, 1998 Body BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows: Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows: Description: A 10.8ñ acre tract of land is generally located 4/10 of a mile south of Ryan Road on the east side of Taylor Road and more specifically described as follows. Commencing at the center of Section 5, Township 48, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri; thence south 00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds west, 1637.62 feet along the west line of the southeast quarter of said section 5, to the true point of beginning of this description; thence south 89 degrees, 13 minutes, 21 seconds east, 1303.83 feet to a point of the east line of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said section 5; thence south 00 degrees, 05 minutes, 06 seconds east, 380.00 feet; thence north 89 degrees, 13 minutes, 21 seconds west, 208.33 feet; thence north 01 degree, 54 minutes, 50 seconds east, 97.00 feet; thence north 88 degrees, 05 minutes, 10 seconds west, 66.21 feet; thence south 01 degree, 54 minutes, 50 seconds west, 42.98 feet; thence north 88 degrees, 05 minutes, 10 seconds west, 349.79 feet; thence south 01 degree, 54 minutes, 50 seconds west, 62.27 feet; thence north 89 degrees, 13 minutes, 21 seconds west, 679.71 feet to a point on the west line of the southeast quarter of said section 5; thence north 00 degrees, 00 minutes, 00 seconds west, 380.00 feet to the true point of beginning of this description. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of David Zoeller (RZ-98-113), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 16, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
