Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15542, dated June 27, 2005, the County did award a twenty-four month term and supply contract for the furnishing of t-shirts and wearing apparel for use by various County departments to Raytown Screen Print of Raytown, MO, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB200531; and,
WHEREAS, that solicitation provided the County an option to extend the contract so awarded for an additional period not to exceed twelve months; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing has recommended the extension of the contract on the terms of the solicitation and the vendor has consented to the extension; and,
WHEREAS, this extension is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the extension; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the contract and extension to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
