Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15433, dated March 28, 2005, the County Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute an Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement between the City of Grain Valley and Jackson County for the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Buckner Tarsney Road and Sni-A-Bar Road, Project No. 3022, under which the City of Grain Valley agreed to reimburse the County for a $10,000.00 increase in construction costs; and,
WHEREAS, the project is now complete and the City of Grain Valley has issued a check in the amount of $10,000.00 for work provided by the County; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation of $10,000.00 is required in order to place the monies in the proper spending accounts for use by the Department of Public Works; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2005 Special Road and Bridge Fund:
