Body
WHEREAS, the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners and Jackson County have previously entered into an agreement to provide the County Sheriff, Prosecuting Attorney, Division of Family Support, Department of Corrections, and Department of Collections with Alert II law enforcement services; and,
WHEREAS, the board desires to provide these services to these County agencies during 1996 at an estimated cost of $90,000; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the agreement for the Alert II services, a copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of these County agencies; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
