BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RE, a tract of land on Moreland School Road located in Section 09, Township 48, Range 30 on Moreland School Road, and specifically described as follows:
 
Description:  A PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 09, TOWNSHIP 48, RANGE 30, JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID QUARTER-QUARTER SECTION; THENCE SOUTH 88 DEGREES 13 MINUTES 07 SECONDS EAST ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF SAID QUARTER-QUARTER SECTION, 208.71 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE CONTINUE SOUTH 88 DEGREES 13 MINUTES 07 SECONDS EAST ALONG SAID LINE, 346.49 FEET (DEED=SOUTH 89 DEGREES 58 MINUTES 24 SECONDS EAST, 346.43 FEET) TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF "R & B ESTATES", A SUBDIVISION IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI; THENCE SOUTH 01 DEGREES 46 MINUTES 10 SECONDS WEST ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID SUBDIVISION, 431 FEET; THENCE NORTH 88 DEGREES 13 MINUTES 07 SECONDS, 555.29 FEET; TO A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID QUARTER-QUARTER SECTION; THENCE NORTH 01 DEGREES 46 MINUTES 54 SECONDS EAST ALONG SAID LINE, 222.29 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 88 DEGREES 13 MINUTES 07 SECONDS EAST, 208.71 FEET (DEED=NORTH 88 DEGREES 40 MINUTES 38 SECONDS EAST, 208.71 FEET); THENCE NORTH 01 DEGREES 46 MINUTES 54 SECONDS EAST, 208.71 FEET (DEED=NORTH 00 DEGREES 03 MINUTES 55 SECONDS EAST, 208.71 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
 
 
 
 
Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Donald and Patricia Bossert, (RZ-2014-511), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on October 16, 2014, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
