WHEREAS, the County has received checks totaling $600,224.39 from the State of Missouri as reimbursement of the County's costs for replacement of the Old 40 Highway Bridge in eastern Jackson County; and,
WHEREAS, these reimbursements represent unanticipated, unbudgeted revenues; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends appropriation of the funds for availability on improvements on Colbern Road Phase II and III and other highway and bridge projects; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made within the 2005 Special Road and Bridge Fund:
