Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 16881, dated April 20, 2009, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute an Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with the Missouri Department of Transportation to receive grant monies from the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Federal Aid Program Grant, for use on the Blue Mills Bridge Rehabilitation, Project No. 2471 at no cost to the County; and,
WHEREAS, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission specifically requested the adoption of an ordinance authorizing the execution of the agreement pursuant to Section 5 of the Missouri Department of Transportation Local Public Agency manual; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the previously authorized execution of the Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with the Missouri Department of Transportation is duly ratified by this ordinance.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
