IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI
A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department to execute documentation necessary for the lease, logo production, and installation necessary for certain highway signage in connection with Fort Osage, at a cost to the County in the actual amount of $3,270.13.

INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator
WHEREAS, three highway attraction signs are necessary to direct people to Jackson County's historic attraction, Ft. Osage; and,
WHEREAS, the year 2000 annual lease payment and one-time expense for logo production and installation of these signs will be at a total cost to the County of $3,270.13; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department recommends that the lease and display of this signage will benefit the citizens of Jackson County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department is hereby authorized to execute any documentation necessary on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be, and hereby is, authorized to make all payments, including final payment subject to the availability of appropriated funds.
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
