AN ORDINANCE transferring $2,800.00 within the 2003 Park Fund and appropriating $16,800.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 2003 Grant Fund to cover the grant received from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for the Kauffman Stadium Recycling Project, and the transfer of matching funds.

Body
WHEREAS, the County has received a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for the Kauffman Stadium Recycling Project; and,
WHEREAS, the grant award is $14,000.00, with a local match of $2,800.00; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary to place the grant and matching funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer and appropriation be and hereby are made:
