Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends a contract with Schreiner Golf, Inc., for the furnishing of consultant services for the Greens Renovation Project at the Fred Arbanas Golf Course under the terms and conditions of the Request for Proposals ("RFP") No. 12-07 in an amount not to exceed $79,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, a total of one hundred forty-three (143) solicitations were distributed and
seventeen (17) responses were received and evaluated from the following:

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that award be made to Schreiner Golf, Inc., of Myrtle Beach, SC, for the reason that, while not the lowest bidder, it has submitted the lowest and best bid when considering factors pursuant to section 1054.7 of the Jackson County Code; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County a design contract with Schreiner Golf, Inc., of Myrtle Beach, SC, at a cost to the County not to exceed $79,000.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor, and to execute for the County any and all other documents necessary to the accomplishment of this award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, except final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
