IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Local 96, Service Employees International Union, regarding the terms and conditions of employment of members of its bargaining unit. Intro RESOLUTION 10807, May 1, 1995 INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 10067, dated December 13, 1993, the County and Local 96, Service Employees International Union (SEIU) are parties to a Memorandum of Understanding which governs the terms and conditions of employment of members of Local 96's bargaining unit; and, WHEREAS, said Memorandum expired on December 31, 1994, but has remained in effect since that date pursuant to its "Evergreen" clause; and, WHEREAS, the parties have recently concluded the negotiation of a successor memorandum which will be effective until December 31, 1997; and, WHEREAS, the attached Memorandum of Understanding reflects the entire agreement and understanding of the parties; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Memorandum of Understanding with Local 96, SEIU. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
